FREE MUMIA ABU JAMAL Press conference 16 November 2020
This press conference was called on Monday, November 16, 2020 to challenge a many months' long delay in Mumia's legal process, which had been imminently expected to open a new appeal before the PA Supreme Court. Newly discovered evidence was likely to lead to Mumia's release.
Numerous intellectuals and legal experts, including ANGELA DAVIS, PAM AFRICA, AND LINN WASHINGTON spoke at the conference, chaired by JOHANNA FERNANDEZ, all calling for Mumia to be freed immediately, .
The conference ended with a 7 minute video of noted football star and political hero COLIN KAEPERNICK CALLING FOR MUMIA TO BE FREED AND EXPLAINING WHY.
