Our efforts to save Troy Davis are making a
tremendous impact.
Across the nation and throughout the world, support for Troy continues
to build. Media outlets from CNN to the Huffington Post are telling his
story, one of a man set to be executed next week despite seven of the
nine original witnesses recanting their testimony or changing their
stories, and no physical evidence linking him to the crime.
Earlier today, we delivered more than 660,000 petition signatures to the
Georgia Board of Pardons & Paroles in support of halting Troy's
execution and granting him clemency. It was a powerful moment for those
who took part, and one that we hope will have a profound impact on the
members of the Board when they meet to decide Troy's fate on Monday.
